Katie Pringle is the Co-Founder of PR firm Cannabis Communications (a division of Marigold PR) and Canndora.com, a female-focused cannabis lifestyle brand, subscription box program and community. An integrated marketing expert, Katie has a deep understanding of the social and digital landscape and traditional media mix. A recipient of PR in Canada’s 2017 Top 40 Under 40, Katie has extensive experience in lifestyle, entertainment and cannabis, with a specific focus on brands that speak to women.

SABRINA RAMKELLAWAN, TerrAscend

Sabrina Ramkellawan is the Vice President, of Clinical Affairs at TerrAscend, which is a biopharmaceutical and wellness company that provides quality products, brands and services for the global cannabis marketplace. Sabrina manages Terra Health Network and responsible to oversee clinical research activities.

She is also a nurse, researcher, patient advocate, and professor. Sabrina has 15+ years of experience in clinical trials and bringing new drugs and devices to market. She has worked in the cannabis industry for 3 years which has included building cannabis clinics and conducting a number of cannabis research studies & trials. She is passionate about using her experience to help build a body of evidence to show the benefits and efficacy of medical cannabis and to help with developing new medical cannabinoid products. She also runs a non-profit called the Clinical Research Association of Canada that conducts events throughout the year highlighting clinical research being done in Canada.

MELISSA PIERCE, co-founder, Ellementa

Melissa is an entrepreneur, women’s rights advocate, and documentary filmmaker. She served as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Marketing Officer of the techno-fashion startup Everpurse in 2012. She also founded Pitch Refinery Conference to help new women entrepreneurs practice framing and pitching new ideas and the Chicago Women Developers group, a community for women in computer programming, one of the largest such groups in the country. She crowdfunded, directed, and produced two documentary films, the award winning “Life in Perpetual Beta,” and “Born with Curiosity, the Grace Hopper Story.”
