Local Corn on the Cob.

We Love It! It’s in season. Our buying it helps our local community.

We do love butter on our corn. If you are going to eat corn on the cob you need to slather it in butter. At our house we have a slab of butter exclusively for when we eat corn on the cob. After the corn is prepared and at the table, we take the cob and roll it in the butter. It can get a little messy but we don’t mind. Corn and the Cob and Butter is a great match.

We were shopping at Longo’s and were so excited to see they had a #cornfest special. 10 for $1.00. Yes only a dime a piece. So we had to stock up. We will be adding it to the family menu this week. We will also be creating multiple posts on great recipes that you can incorporate into your summer meals.
