Fall has officially arrived. And that means it’s time to get out in the yard and start getting your home ready for the season, and the coming winter. It may look like there’s a lot of work to do, but with a little help from Canadian Tire, you’ll be ready in no time.
There are 4 areas or your home you’ll want to get ready, and first up it’s Pruning and Trimming.
By pruning and trimming your trees and shrubs in the fall, it can help protect your home from wind-swept or icy branches. Don’t go too overboard, but check if there are any branches too close to the house or windows, or overhanging walkways – especially branches that are breaking/broken. And by removing any broken or diseased branches it will keep your plant healthy, and in the spring it’ll put all it’s energy into new healthy branches and flowers.
