Tangerine clients can now reap the benefits of new Mobile Banking Apps for iOS™ that includes four new technologies: EyeVerify™, Eyeprint ID™, Nuance VocalPassword™, and an in-app Secure Chat. Tangerine clients can now do their banking on their phone by downloading Tangerine Mobile Banking Apps at the Apple App Store. Support for Android™ is coming up in a few months.
EyeVerify & Eyeprint ID
EyeVerify uses the Eyeprint ID technology for fast client identification within the Tangerine Mobile Banking App.
Nuance developed VocalPassword, a voice authentication technology that allows clients to access their Tangerine bank account by stating a simple phrase with their own voice. These new technologies means that accessing your Tangerine account is now just an eye-scan or simple phrase away.
In-App Secure Chat
Tangerine’s in-app Secure Chat feature uses Genesys® technology and works on an innovative platform that was created with IBM®. Clients can instantly start a chat session under the “Contact Us” section by scanning their eyes with Eyeprint ID when they are logged on the app. Once clents enter a chat session through the app, they can chat live with a Tangerine Associate to complete banking actions like changing an address or making a payment.
